Flash Back Fridays!
Hey everyone. Good to see you're all still here. Sorry I haven't been feeding you a weekly dose of religious news, info and my attempts what was has been called "humor". Time to get back on track! Well, here we are on Friday. We all know what that means. Here's some cool nostalgia just for you.
1. One of the coolest sci-fi flicks of the 80's.
2. Speaking of cool 80's flicks, here's something I have been listening to on my iPod as of late. Here's the very cool song "The Heat is On" from the also very cool movie "Beverly Hills Cop":
3. And while this isn't from the 80's, it's something that has already become pop culture goodness.Colin Hay (Singer of Men At Work) visits the set of Scrubs to play a pretty awesome 80's song.

Techno worship. And did that guy really say shamalama ding dong at about 1:50??? We really need to fight against churches like this.
It's things like this that made me into the church/culture critic (and semi-apologist) that I am. If you go to a church like this, please please please leave. I beg you, it's damaging to your spiritual health, and blasphemous to the Spirit at worst. Read my post below about Evangelical gullibility. In all things test what you hear by Scripture. It doesn't matter if someone speaks in a million tongues. If what they are doing is disorderly (God is a God of Order)or if they are teaching weird things or even acting weird, please get out as soon as you can.

What is it with Pastors trying to look cool by showing up on stage with a motorcycle?
As I said in a previous post, we sometimes bring the trouble on ourselves for the dumb things that get done in Jesus' name.
