As many of you know, I appreciate the arts and I love to go the Downtown LA Art walk when I can. As a matter of fact it's next week if anyone is interested. I've seen much fine art, but I must give kudos to Luca Battini. He's pictured above, and is currently making a painting of the Patron saint of the city of Pisa in Italy. The interesting part is that he does this the old fashioned way. He makes his own paint, he makes his own canvas and he picks models from the city who will be on the wall he's working on. The project will take about 3 years. You can read more about his project here. It's worth a read and a viewing.
